Immigration agents your thoughts
About to take the plunge and start the application process. Many posts to come no doubt.
Decided on using a registered Immigration Agent, anyone used Thames Immigration, London?
£2500 fee seems OK to me, would like price comparisons from others who have taken the immigration route?
Any comments welcome.

Can a MARA agent get my skills assessed quicker than if i do the paperwork myself?
My occupation is FINALLY on the CSOL. State sponsorship from ACT but it is listed as LIMITED which means I need to get my skills assessed ASAP.
Will a MARA agent be able to make this happen faster than me? Or will my paperwork be lodged in exactly the same way as theirs?
Thanks in advance for your help! This is my one chance to get to Oz and I don't want to blow it for the sake of saving a few quid!!

Dear MS,
As it's the ACT I would suggest you call them and confirm that you're the kind of Marketing Specialist they want - bear in mind that it's a small place with a unique mix of "industries".
Using Vetassess these days involves so many tactical issues that I think I would be using an agent if coming in from the outside. The days when they were no more than a rubber stamp are long gone.
Cheers,
George Lombard

Can anyone recommend an agent??
Hello everyone!
Me & my boyfriend are very keen to get our application process started but are looking at using an agent for help. We live in Wiltshire and ideally would like someone close by.
http://www.ianharrop.co.uk/
and
http://www.migrationexpert.com.au/australian_visa/
are the two we are considering.
Has anybody used either of these companies? Or can anyone recommend someone that they have used? Any help and information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Chloe,
Ian Harrop is very experienced and very professional. I'm not sure who is at Migration Expert and afaik they're in Victoria not the UK.

They've got an office in London but I think that's for people wanting UK visas, the site doesn't make it terribly clear.
