Just had medicals today in manchester. wasn't half as bad as expected. The OH has got to forward some paperwork from his GP but other than that we are just waiting for the results of X-ray and blood test.

We also went to the police station to do our police checks but apparently we have been given the wrong papers by the agency, so we have to back when we have filled in the form for the Greater Manchester Police.

Looks like we are getting a little further slowly.

Just thought I would up date everyone. My drama has now decended into a crisis as the other Doc I saw has decided to follow up on other things when the previous one said it was ok. Oh well. Feeling a bit lost and fed up but it lifts my spirits to read others are progressing, well done. Any news yet Northener?

Sorry to hear that Lisa, thought it was just a problem with the forms being filled in wrongly by the doctor??? Is it more than that?? I'm sure things will work out soon, hang in there!!

No news from me. Still waiting, and waiting.... They're up to the 22nd March in the processing and ours arrived 23rd - typical LOL

I'd recommend the second option...Icequeen1 and Sa-redback seem to get

Hi Northerner

It was just a case of ticking 8 boxes and then saying A or B. But the Panel Doctor decided he would have to do the whole thing again as he said he couldn't verify half the form. And because I am just completing a course of anti depressants he wants a report from my GP.

So today I phoned GP to get and appointment and guess what? He's on holiday for two weeks too.

In the meantime checking emails I found I had received one from LCU confirming it was just the 8 or so questions they wanted answering. I then phoned the Panel Doctor's secretary to tell her and she said no they would be sending the full form once my GP had got back to them. I then proceeded in sending her the email as proof and said I'll leave with them to sort.

So soon there will be two medicals of mine flying around LCU. I have to say the case officer and LCU have been understanding.

I've had enough now!! Enough to get anyone depressed. lol. I'm just going to go with the flow bit difficult as I don't drink or smoke!! I think I need to start!!

C u 4 now. I'll update you if I hear anything but I won't hold my breath. Expect news end of October I suppose.
