Hi all

Just been issued with a case officer requesting medicals, looks like sending in the police checks must have been the nudge that was needed...... Wish me luck I have been refered for further testing by the docotor in manchester cause I am a big lad....... tommrrow morning is going to be expensive...... i have to see a renal specialist to rule out diabetes and other shit.....upto 600 quid so far

Hope I pass the medicals bit....might start hearing some news soon...good luck all

I reckon you will pass. If they rule out diabetes or other things they are looking for and you show them the progress you are making with your weight loss and quitting smoking.

Hi All

Have just checked emails this morning and we have a CO (Region 2) requesting meds etc. They obviously haven't been matched up as yet as they were sent off mid august. It looks like DIMA are getting back on track. Keep them coming guys for all those still waiting. Also please could someone colour me green now. Oh it's exciting.

Cheers for the Karma and congrats on the CO assigned

I had my medical this morning and it was a doddle, this doctor who Dr Million refered me to ( Dr Smithard) for additional tests redid my BMI and it was 4 points less.... eh? Anyways blood test clear, they really have tested me for everything, so I have pushed this doctor to get the letter in the post as soon as the lab results are back.....Needs to be done this week as he goes to Peru on Friday for a month.....Good to know my consultation fees are going to good use lol.

Good luck all and thanks for the kind words and support....Lets hope We see some more CO's assigned and Visas issued over the next few weeks... Patience.... all we are nearly there !!!
