Hey leo is your application single or are u with spouse. I dont think it makes any difference but just out of curiosity since we both had job verification tday. and which city do u reside.?

I think if one is applying with wife she also has to be verified, so it can increase verification time.

Got a job verification call today. They called my employer on his cell and on my cell too.
Asked alot of questions about my work experience and the nature of business and my education and IELTS (like when did i appear in IELTS, what was my centre and score and all) and about my qualification.

it is true that online status not realy reflecting the actual status, my documents are met since 16th of MARCH 2010, i am form PAKISTAN but interestingly no degree attestaion, no work experience verification calls, straight to Met, Perhaps my Institute have earned a good name at DIAC,

in most of the cases...work experience checking is done once the documentation is correct...

I dont think there would be any verification call after document status is MET. Because documents status is only set to met when everything and i mean EVERY thing checks out.

yeah , right you are as some days back after medical and PCC i had sent an e-mail to my CO asking politely for anyfurther documents are required?, in reply i got " nothing is required and only internal checking for character assessment is in process, your patience is appreacited... bla bla...
