Unless they have a crystal ball, no. The latest update is above - they will have allocated all pre-Sept 07 CSL appplications by 20th March, then will move onto the next batch of CSL applications presumably.

Hi all,
We lodged our e-application 19/12/08 and can see that our application has started the process but we have heard nothing from the DIAC about a CO.

We have applied for a 175 and have uploaded all (i think) the required documents but are unsure what to do about the X-Rays and medical checks. I emailed the DIAC nearly 3 weeks ago but have again heard nothing back. We want to know when they need to be done. I don't want to pay for them too early to be told they are out of date and need news ones!

Has anyone else had the same problems with getting in contact?

All help will be appreciated.
Cheers
Paul & Katie

That is the question everyone wants answered, but nobody can answer it!

If you are on the CSL, it will be soon, if you are not, forget it! That seems to be how it is going at the moment.

Wait until the CO requests them, thats probably the best advice at the moment.

I have a query regarding sending additional documents ... I have few income related documents which I received from my company after lodgement of application. All of them are in black&white format but digitally signed. Do you think still I need to make them true copy by notary public or judge ? Or should I send them directly to DIAC ?

Please provide your feedback.

ya i m on CSL, our agent told us that they have already started the post Sep 07 applications...bcoz there were not much pre- Sep 07 applications which were pending and the March 20 deadline is much exaggerated one. There is one more doubt, by whatever time DIAC finishes the pre Sep 07 CSL applications, then in the next lot....which obviously would be post Sep 07 applications......However before, this priority was declared DIAC had already finished applications of all categories up till Dec 08...was that not so? So after 20 March will they started with Jan 08 CSL applications?

It would be interesting if they had started processing post sept 07 applicaitons. I was under the impression, from reading the other threads here, that they had a large volume of pre sep 07 applications because that was when immigration changed the visa requirements so everybody rushed to get theirs in during August before the change.

I'll send another email to DIAC and see what it says.

The DIAC email is from Monday so I guess we'll have to wait til next week to see if they really have started processing post sep 07.

I noted however they finished the state sponsored applications a week before they were originally intending. Guess it's that old thing about how its better to over exaggerate the time it will take to do something - then finishing before and looking like you did it early, rather than under exaggerating the time required then annoying people when it comes in late

There is one from June 08 and one from July 08 which also go there 175 MODL visas yesterday too.

Hope this means they are speeding up, albeit I'm still on 175 non modl/csl.

The other ones..there is a possibility that they were allocated CO in 2008 itself(as they are granted visa..!!)

I'm a Dec2007 applicant (175 CSL) and do not have a CO today.

But I'm not convinced that each group is processed chronologically.
