Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)
Congrats to all got PR!!
I send a mail to NSW PESE a while ago and got a reply with no useful information.
they said
"We are experiencing temporary delays due to an unprecedented increase in
applications received through this office and we process all applications
in order of date of lodgement and in line with general processing
requirements. This ensures that all visa applicants are processed in a fair
manner.
".
But if how do we verify it?. from what I see in the google doc its not justifying the above statement.

I asked some specific questions like CO allocation and Nomination approval.
Got a proper response...still a bit vague but from a human being.
U could try that.
Good luck to us all!

I called again today (I'm getting impatient haaaaaa! )
The customer service girl said that my application is being assess and that they will contact me if anything is needed.
I want to know what 'being assess' mean!!!!!!! It's a mystery...

I too wish today is the day… It would be fabulous and comparable to winning lotto if I get it in a week....I'm going on holiday for a month and nothing can be a perfect gift than PR at this moment to me.

Hi all,
I've been a lurker here since January 2007 when my move to Oz first started.
Just wanted to let you know that I got my 856 granted yesterday.
6 weeks and 5 days after lodgement.
No migration expert involved. No further questions from immigration. Did it all myself and it was a very expedient process.
I was going to post some thoughts and opinions as to how I did it as they might be helpful, but I may get flamed for it, so if anyone has any questions please drop me a PM.
Its been a long, stressful and worrying time, but it's now done.
Cheers
Matt

Hi everyone
How long does it take for the 856 application to be finalised? It's been 3 months since providing all documents and still no word. Is it just the slowness of beurocracy or are they really doing any active work and assessment ? They dont say anything and you just wait and wait...
thanks
