The processing times below apply to applications lodged with complete documentation.

Processing times vary depending on 'high risk' or 'low risk' country requirements. Low risk countries are Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) eligible. High risk countries are those not on the ETA list.
See: www.eta.immi.gov.au

But your IELTS test result was already valid at the time you made your application, wasn't it?

Is it so?

I think Team 3 is sleeping and waiting for a wake up call.
I have noticed that estimated time for visa for HR countries has been increased to 15 months from the time of lodging application. I just check Australian immigration website. so we all are ......

No Matrisha, My i just submitted the ielts booking reciept when applying thinking I will submit the result later. I had read someone on 175 form that system will not stop you from applying without ielts and it will be assessed during grant. This was too misleading

I donot know what to do know, i guess I would like to know from forum members if they had similar problems and what happend with the applications?
shud i consider withdrawing?

In the first half of 2009, it was possible to apply without IELTS.. but these rules regarding IELTS came into picture some where around Mid 2009. Not sure on dates though...

From whare you get the info?
Is it recent info or it is a common practice of DIAC to process HR country by 15 months

Hello guys,

I've just sent a blank email to aspc.processing "at" immi.gov.au,

and received the following statement in part of the email:
"If your application is in any of priority groups 2, 3 or 4, it is
estimated that your visa application will be finalised within 12 months of
your lodgement date. Please note that processing times can be affected by
circumstances beyond the department’s control."

It does not mention HR processing time, but I assume it is still within 12 months (or suppose to be 12 months..)

Good luck everyone!

Let us see what happens next....
