What does it means?
We will haveto wait until 2010-2011 to have an answer?

It is 1 -1.5 years more ?

Yep, if you are non CSL / MODL or don't have a state sponsorship welcome to the No Australia for us boat. 3+ year wating for a visa ... I can't believe it .

Why has the August 2007 been deserted? Have all got their got their VISAs or still waiting ?

You must have quiet a lot of patient. New rules on MODL is expected late this year, there might be some positive news as the CSL will be phased out.

Haven't been on in months. We're here 14 months now and I still can't believe there are people waiting. Its a total disgrace

We still pinch ourselves everyday so hang on in there, it's so worth the wait

I m new to this forum can anyone tell me that how much time it take to get the final decsion I Class Bq Subclass 138 Australian sponsored application ACK. in 27/08/2007. Pcc & Medical sent on july 2008 Co no assigned and still waiting No CSL No MODL.

I guess you haven't read DIAC news for a while:

"Based on current application rates for Groups 1-3, it is unlikely at this stage that applications which fall in Groups 1-3 will be exhausted in the 2009-10 Migration Program year and processing of Groups 4 and 5 will be delayed until this has occurred."

This are the groups:

1. employer sponsorship
2. State or Territory sponsorship
3. an occupation on the Critical Skills List (CSL)
4. an occupation on the Migration Occupation in Demand List (MODL)
5. all other applications in date of lodgement order


To sum up all non CSL , MODL must wait to get some news PROBABLY next migration program year.

- VEETASSES- JUNE-2007
- WA SPONCERSHIP -27 AUG-2007
- FILE SUBMEET - 30 AUG-2007
- CO APPOINTED- 25 NOV-2008
- MEDICAL & PCC - 20 DEC-2008
- JOB VERIFICATION - 6 JANUARY-2009
- still waiting for visa grant ......?

Still waiting their is not any reply , my agent send to PLE in reply they told me i am not comming in CSL ,EMPLOYER SPONCER, STATE SPONCERSHIP
but actualy i have WESTERN AUSTRALIA STATE SPONCERSHIP . so i dont know why they delay my file because i coming in priorty criteria .
yaa DIMIA staff is out of mind

OMG, it's been so long since I was on here, I'd forgot my user name and password (old age). Anyway sorted now. I did not expect to find anyone still waiting - wow guys that stinks but hang on in there surely you're nearly there - surely! Good luck.

How's everyone else. Didn't expect winter in Oz to be so crap!! Good job the summer makes up for it!
