Nothing happening as yet, anyone had any contact?

After 5 months from my last mail yesterday I again mailed to my CO and today got reply. I found that my CO is changed and application is still under security check. New CO mentioned that he cant give a timeframe about the completion of these checks...But in june in reply to my first email preveious CO mentioned that it will take 6-7 months to complete internal checking process..Dont know whats happening..

Feeling very sad..:-( ..

dont feel sad...check my timeline.I got 3 months wait advice in 'May' last year but still waiting...there are others who are waiting since Oct-Nov`09...just hang on and stay positive...CO himself is innocent becuase external checks are done by external agencies and no timeline can be given

Not a grant but opened my emails today to find a nice surprise from our case officer, yep I said case officer. I know its not over until the fat lady sings but its a start isnt it.

Health requirements showing finalised, so thats us done now.
Hoping for visa asap.

We did our meds on the 26th Jan, uploaded pc's on 1st Feb and visa was granted on the 2nd of Feb.

Well in, maybe it was that quick because your off to tasmania, i am guessing?
I lodged 2 days after you so i should have mine on the 4th Feb haha

Again well done on grant, can I ask you what does your email say?
what steps are next?
do you send your passports?where do your passports go?
how long have you got to enter?
etc etc.

Hi John,

You get an e-mail with your details and your CO's details on it, and it will have attatchments to it, which answer all your questions, if you pm me I'll send you a copy of what I recieved.

Well I am just staying up to watch the superbowl even though I start work @ 6am. I thought I will just check my emails, I did and found a mail from our case officer with our GRANT.
Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!!
Got to enter by 07th October 2011, sod that more like 07th May 2011 for us
12th Jan Case Officer= Visa Grant 26 days later

John that is fabulous news!! There's not a feeling like it is there? I still have to keep telling myself it's real!
