While it's not London, we got an email this morning with the AOS. However, it says the application was received on 11 August, so it took three weeks to tell us. Oh well, at least we know it's in progress.

From the other forum I'm following it looks like Sydney is relatively quick (5-7 months) so fingers crossed it's early in the new year. (We're planning to go over to Canada for holiday in April so the OH can land then we can come back to Australia for a bit to wrap things up here.

I knew Sydney was pretty quick, they have decent processing times there. Hopefully it holds for you! By AOS do you mean Approval of Sponsor?

And it doesn't matter that it's not London, keep us updated!

Oh, sorry I meant AOR. Not sure why I typed an "S" instead of "R"

Hehe. NO worries! Sponsor approval shouldn't be too far away, though!

My partner has just had the email through approving him for sponsorship and my application has been sent on to Ottawa!

So happy. Thrilled.

Btw - my meds were done on the 2nd of July.

That's the same time it took them to send an AOR for our application too - seems standard.....

Our ECAS changed to 'Decision made' yesterday and we received the COPR this morning. The medical expires October1st but that is no longer an issue because we have until August 5th 2017 to land. Great relief and now we can focus on getting ourselves there. Thanks to everyone for holding our hand on the journey, it's great to know there is help when needed. You do an awesome job.

Wow, that's awesome but that's crazy. I had a similar timeline to you but I've been given until October 6th to land (1 year from my medical). I would definitely prefer to have until August 2017!

Sorry, we feel for you. Do you think your glitch may have had something to do with it? There was a long delay wasn't there, and some issues with your COPR being sent? We were prepared to fly to Toronto for a day this month if we had to, but it is quite an expense to do that and we are relieved we don't have to. We may end up doing that anyway at some point if our house doesn't sell sharpish, but we have a lot of work to do on it first.

I wouldn't say a glitch, more of a delay. I think you seem to have seen DM change on ECAS and almost straight away have the CoPR. I had a 6 week gap between DM and CoPR arriving. Yeah, we've booked flights already to go to Toronto for 5 days. You gotta do what you gotta do, right? Really pleased that the wait is almost over for us both! This is the final hurdle!

I agree with you though. This forum and the people on it are wonderful. Very helpful indeed. What a great community this is!

Congratulations. I have a vested interest in seeing all of the London 'lines' turn green!

Spreadsheet updated.
