Hi update for time line.
Received request for police certificate and Schedule A background IMM 5669 form on 9th February ( no request for medical it says medical is not required will let you know if this changes) I sent them via IRCC webform as there was no upload link in my application on 22 February.
I noticed review of eligibility was started around 11 March.
31 March sponsor received email that application was forwarded to Vienna office. I presume that is because I am Dutch although have lived in UK since early 1990's.

So after application being delivered Feb 27th, we finally heard from CIC today, to tell us that we have an incomplete / missing IMM 5406... no idea what we missed on it...
Has anyone else had this happen? do they return the whole package for you to resubmit all together? their letter was a bit confusing once saying it was being returned to us, and then in another paragraph saying it would be returned unprocessed if we didn't resubmit the missing document within 45 days... So not sure if we're waiting to receive it, or should go ahead and resend the IMM 5406, double checking it again
Has anyone else had this happen? do they return the whole package for you to resubmit all together? their letter was a bit confusing once saying it was being returned to us, and then in another paragraph saying it would be returned unprocessed if we didn't resubmit the missing document within 45 days... My application had a form foul-up (partner put his name in both the PA and Sponsor section for questions 1 & 2 of IMM1344). Letter from CIC said it was being held at CPC Mississauga, please send a new one or it won't be processed, and had an attachment of our wrongly-filled form.
I suspect you should only need to send the replacement/additional IMM5406, although if they explicitly said it was being returned that's unnerving. If they had the line 'Your application is incomplete, please send the below form ... please send to this address', I'd hope you can just send the requested one (as we did, but ours explicitly said being held there for 45 days).

Hi,
Just an update for our timeline, I received my request to complete a medical on 28th March and my medical was completed today, 4th April in Manchester. Should all be submitted electronically by the physician.

An update for my application: review of medical results passed 7 April 2017.
This was all done via the IME system.
Also, my background check has been in progress since 17 Feb 2017.
It's all moved rather quickly for me so far.
