How long are people 'in process' for on an average basis? Seems like there has been a lot of movement in the last week from London?

So once you get your copr, how long does it take to get your pr card? Friend who just got his pr through the cec, said it is a 3 month wait and you cannot re enter the country by plane if you do not have your pr card?

I wonder if my COPR will be sent to my UK address or to me here in Ontario... Anyone know how I can tell ?
What address do you have on ECAS? Did you do a change of address when you moved to Canada?

Current processing time is 80 calendar days providing you gave CBSA a Canadian address on day you landed.
As for flying without a PR card that will depend on the airline if they ask to see it when coming back to Canada. Some ask for it some don't and if you don't have one they can refuse to let you fly.

Hi all,

So I checked ecas today and my application now says 'In Process'! I'm very happy and see this as a good sign as I believe it to be the first London app of 2015 to go in to process. Could the spreadsheet please be updated?

Thanks!!

Congratulations! It's a good feeling to get movement isn't it?

Not sure what spreadsheet you are looking at though? There are 2 other applications from 2015 (LVO)currently in process?

Yeah, not really sure what's up with that! Especially when there are lots from 2014 and early 2015 with nothing yet...

As of today, there is a new line in my Ecas. I have been in process for a little bit, but it was just the same two lines. Now it also says application in process since November 12, 2014. Which seems a bit strange, since we have just received last Friday a letter asking for some more documents to be sent in the next 30 days!
