Re: International Experience Canada
I am leaving tomorrow morning - getting butterflies in my stomach haha. I'm just putting it down to excitement. Will post on here how my immigration experience goes! (Hopefully relatively smoothly.... watch this space)

It went from this:
Working Holiday
Quota: 5,350
Working Holiday places remaining: 0
Updated: 30/01/2013

Maybe it's just a glitch but I'd say something fishy's happening! Get your battle gear on...there'll be a fight for these visas if it's anything like the Irish one!

Re: International Experience Canada
No I'm serious. But it's not visible on the site, you have to change the ip address to access the hidden sign-on page that was just activated but not updated on the home page:
1. Go to the irish IEC page and click on the Kompass Login.
2. Copy the url address and modify it as follows:
Replace IE with UK in the url:
https://iec-eic.international.gc.ca/...ode=IE&lang=en
turns into:
https://iec-eic.international.gc.ca/...ode=UK&lang=en
3. Click on register new account and you can register. IT WORKS
This is the final link if you don't wanna do the above stuff
https://iec-eic.international.gc.ca/...?regionCode=UK
Enjoy dudes!!

Re: International Experience Canada
I don't think I will use that until its officially open...
Edit:
Entering any 2 letters seems to make the site work "ZZ" for example.
https://iec-eic.international.gc.ca/...ode=ZZ&lang=en
I would wait to avoid errors.

If the sign-on page has been updated, but not showing on the website...I wonder if it's going to open tomorrow?
Edit: And yes, I did nearly have a heart attack, because when I refresh the page I always look st the quota first, and since that had changed.......then I saw that it wasn't actually open yet
