Re: IEC 2015
Thanks, could be it. I'll try again from work, everything is all saved at home like the correct page and what not, but it's more annoying on a phone browser!
How do I get to the actually kompass log in from that link? it just takes me to the main "pick country page", which I do, but then can't find the login

Does anyone know how much the quality of the resume matters in this? Or is it just a formality? because mine looks incredibly bare since I've only had the one job

I don't think so, I think the whole point of it being so bare is that they can have a quick glance at it and get a general idea from that rather than having to look over like 3 pages worth of stuff. I know both last year and this year for mine its been fairly similar templates they have put up and last years was accepted so should be ok.

On the topic of the CV thing, does the CIC require a longer version of the CV than the IEC one?

As far as I remember they do not but I am not 100% sure on that. I was actually looking through my old documents to see if I had two named separately but I couldn't find a different one so I'll just be using the same one again.

If the US police check was straightforward, it wouldn't be much trouble to do but he will need to send off fingerprints and the time delay is pretty long -14 weeks I believe?

Re: IEC 2015
Hmmm... A few people seem to have been having issues with IEC recognising payment, right? Have we had any word on that, or has anyone had any success after waiting it out?
I've dropped them a message earlier today and had no reply, I suppose that means I'm going to have to wait all weekend...
Anything I can do on my side to clear and lock that section as complete?

If you have the confirmation from the third party you should be fine and plus on mine it states that I have submitted payment and documents so they will see it has gone through

That's what worries me... I have the confirmation, but it still says that it's pending on both documentation and on payment.

Would be most interested to see the replies to this as my son has been successful in this round and was also a student in the states for a while last year, but he has entry stamps to Canada & Mexico during that time - so was never in the States for a full 6 months. Does that exempt as not 'concurrent'
By the way the link to Off Track Travel was brilliant! Thanks Gemma - we printed it out, prepared the answers - the (how many letters in) Canada question was crap though!
