How do I get to the actually kompass log in from that link? it just takes me to the main "pick country page", which I do, but then can't find the login
That link /should/ lead you directly to the log-in page.

Does anyone know how much the quality of the resume matters in this? Or is it just a formality? because mine looks incredibly bare since I've only had the one job

I don't think so, I think the whole point of it being so bare is that they can have a quick glance at it and get a general idea from that rather than having to look over like 3 pages worth of stuff. I know both last year and this year for mine its been fairly similar templates they have put up and last years was accepted so should be ok.

On the topic of the CV thing, does the CIC require a longer version of the CV than the IEC one?

As far as I remember they do not but I am not 100% sure on that. I was actually looking through my old documents to see if I had two named separately but I couldn't find a different one so I'll just be using the same one again.

If the US police check was straightforward, it wouldn't be much trouble to do but he will need to send off fingerprints and the time delay is pretty long -14 weeks I believe?

Hmmm... A few people seem to have been having issues with IEC recognising payment, right? Have we had any word on that, or has anyone had any success after waiting it out?
I've dropped them a message earlier today and had no reply, I suppose that means I'm going to have to wait all weekend...
Anything I can do on my side to clear and lock that section as complete?

Hm, I made my payment at around 6pm yesterday and have had no acknowledgment, except the receipt from the third party payment site. The sections are showing as locked on my Kompass though. Not sure if I should senc them a message or wait it out.

Think we might have to wait it out.

If you have the confirmation from the third party you should be fine and plus on mine it states that I have submitted payment and documents so they will see it has gone through

That's what worries me... I have the confirmation, but it still says that it's pending on both documentation and on payment.

By the way the link to Off Track Travel was brilliant! Thanks Gemma - we printed it out, prepared the answers - the (how many letters in) Canada question was crap though!
Aww, thank you! I haven't really posted on this forum since researching my common law sponsorship in 2013 so it was fun to suddenly see page views linked from here! I'm really glad the guide helped you.
