I imagine that's fine, I think the important bit is that you specify it's unknown, rather than just leaving it blank.

Awesome, thanks

Does anyone know when they're expected to run out of places? We're sending our ACRO forms off in about 1-2 weeks, so we're a little behind a lot of you. I'm hoping we should be ok though.

Yeah I'm behind too, but I think we should be alright - I can't imagine they would run out this early.

Thank you!

I would do it recorded for peace of mind, at least you'll know it has arrived, even if they don't acknowledge it straight away.

Last year they ran out at the start of August, so you should be OK. I reckon they'll run out a bit earlier this year though, seems like a lot of people were disappointed last year, so there could be lots of people applying early this year.

Does anyone know if they actually reject any applications? I mean, assuming all the documents are in order, do you automatically get accepted? Or do they look at your CV, previous experience etc and then only let some applicants in.

I sent my application by recorded delivery and it arrived on the 4th, but I haven't had any confirmation. Should I be worried or am I being too anxious?

EDIT: I've just seen that other people seem to be waiting for confirmation too. :/

Being too anxious... I wouldn't worry - people on the facebook group had it signed for at the Commission on the 28th Dec, and they're still waiting for a confirmation e-mail. Mine was signed for on Friday (6th) and nothing. They prob have quite a back log since the holidays...

Thanks for your reply I just read a few posts on the other thread about people still waiting. Hopefully we'll all hear something soon.

I sent my application from Canada just before Christmas and the last tracking is it leaving Canada. So I don't know if it ever arrived in England or if it's waiting in the Commission inbox!

I wonder when they'll next update the IEC site with visa numbers, they must have received a fair few by now if this forum is anything to go by.
