New citizen!
So I got my invitation for my oath ceremony, three weeks ago, and on 22nd November 2018, I became a Canadian citizen. Amazing feeling, thank you to this forum,and all members. Woo hoo eh

Been a while since I last posted here having been through IEC, PR, and now citizenship route over the last 7 years. (The rules for citizenship changed literally right when I would have been eligible!)
Here's my timeline thus far...
1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 24, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 10, 2018.
Is there a link to a spreadsheet with other people's timelines available?

My application was received on August 23rd, 2018
Not heard anything back yet.
Delivered by courier, I paid for a signature as well, but doesn't state if the package was signed for or not.
Nothing in my spam folders either. Guess I'm waiting a bit longer then.
Edit:
Just logged in, and seen they have started to process my application.
Sent Discover Canada on the 6th Nov, I guess this is in the mail strike somewhere.
Also sent "We sent you correspondence on November 26, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."
Once again, I will be waiting for this due to the postal strikes.

The Status of my application says "We sent you correspondence on November 26, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Does anyone know if CIC send this correspondence by post or e mail?
I did not receive an e mail from CIC saying they had received my application. I found out by logging in to my account.

There'll be a link to it in your email. Furthermore, when you log in to check your application status, there is a hyperlink to the Discover Canada booklet on the line when they say they sent it to you. Just click the words Discover Canada.

Just logged in and see I've moved into In Process. Seems to be moving fairly quickly. Not that my signature is allowing me to edit it though!!

Was really hoping for a ceremony date before Christmas but we are still waiting for status to change so it’s not looking so great now. It’s been 5 weeks since we both passed the test.
I know they said it could take up to 5 months but was hoping they were just being pessimistic lol

I mailed my application on October 8th, is it normal that I can't login to check on my status using my UCI or Receipt# just yet? I haven't had anything to say it's been received or anything...

Status changed to decision made today!
After providing them with some extra paperwork straight after our test, we haven’t heard anything further so I’m going to try and be positive and think it has been approved.

hi folks long time no post but here is my storyline..arrived 26 February 2008 on TWP , nominated by MBPNP January 09 .PR march 10 (had a bad work accident during this time so waited 4 months so I could see if I was going back to work)……………...tried for citizenship in 2012 but was sent back due to paperwork problems,they though UK was Ukraine
..i was so pd I got the money back. ...Now 2018 sent in again received March.receipt April, in process june 21st ..fingerprints august, paperwork /see judge oct (no test as 58 ) oath Nov 28 .
