One thing I miss from America is something called "Colby" cheese. Wisconsin-style. Probably the best of class in "rubbery" cheese. Wish we could get it here.

I their, this cheese Colby yourself being in the Army in the Past should be use too,we had in late 60s ration pack with Tined Procsed Cheese in, rubber cheese in it, the funny part was that we wear a 4 man tank crew issued with a 5 man ration pack so every 4th day we got nothing, so food time Sausege open tin 5 inside if 4 men who gets the 5th Sausege ?????? digger47

No matter , we could be a match made in heaven for I have but one good eye and understand imperfectly written English language perfectly.
Count yourselves lucky. Anchor butter and the NZ lamb costs many arms and legs here or is that many legs and legs. The best NZ lamb is all exported. What is affordable is mutton and hogget. Good morning everybody!
We tried the Cheddar cheese and my wife also likes it - she often complains that in Hungary there used to be no good cheese available (at a reasonable price ...) but of course with globalisation this has changed.
Every week we're waiting for the flyers from Spar, Tesco, Lidl, Aldi etc to see if there is another "American/English/Italian/Spanish/Greek/Dalmatian/Swiss week" somewhere - there's always something new to try ...
