Things are getting a bit heated around here. Please lets not stoop to name calling and throwing insults around.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: WHAT ****** YOU OFF TO-DAY.
Let me, to use the current vernacular, share with you ''What ****** Me Off Today'' or at the very least has given me something to think about!
Well it seems I've had something of a Eureka moment today, I think as a result of a couple of things that have happened over the past week; I think, well it seems I might have gotten a little older! Hard as that might be to believe, I think it might actually be true. Let me tell you how I've reached this conclusion:
On Tuesday evening I met with friends in the West End to have a bite to eat. As is always the way, parking was impossible and I ended up parking in Golden Square, we were meeting in a restaurant at the far end of Compton Street near to Charring Cross Road. Whilst walking there I passed dozens of young people handing out fliers for various bars, night clubs, ladies of the night and even Chinese massage parlors! Nobody not a single solitary bloody sole offered me a flier, not even for a mucky massage! Now when you can walk from one side of Soho to the other and nobody even offers you a flier that tells you something!
Last night, Saturday, I had to surreptitiously take a friend to Brighton purportedly for fish and chips but actually to meet his family and some more friends at a restaurant to celebrate his 60th birthday! Most of those there were of a certain age and it suddenly dawned upon me; it seems when I go out now its to 50th, 60th or 70th birthday parties, 40th or 50th wedding anniversaries or sadly a wake! But it seems only yesterday that my Saturday nights were made up of friends celebrating there 18th or 21st birthdays, engagements, weddings and christenings. Could that be another clue that I might be a little older?
Finally after a fairly heavy and very late night yesterday, I have spent the majority of the day, well actually all of it other then when I was eating, making a cup of or the occasional (but more frequent than they used to be) loo break, now where was I, oh yes, I've spent most of the day prostrate on the couch; recovering from the night before and I didn't even have a drink!
I can only conclude, now that I'm in my 60th year, that I might have aged a bit over the last 40 or so years, amazing!
However I intend to utilise this information to my benefit, I shall try and stretch my Goa trip to a couple of months, grandchildren permitting! I will be reviewing my diet and lifestyle, I'm determined to see my youngest grand child, Emelia 2yo graduate from university and I want to see her get married. Finally I think its time to review my bucket list, taking both of the grandchildren to swim with dolphins is being brought forward, a lot else is also up for review!

My 12 year old daughter has just been diagnosed with scolosis of the spine plus a pelvis slightly higher on one side and something called lumbar lordosis. It is not good.

Steve - make the most of your grand children, leave them wonderful memories. Ours have fantastic memories of their time spent with Pops, so many memories which can never be taking away from them.

Re: WHAT ****** YOU OFF TO-DAY.
That I woke up to heavy rain at 5 am yesterday and it was moving house day!!!!!!! And it drizzled all day.
Was happy that it rained most of the night to save me watering all the plants i`d shifted when I`d got complete chaos to sort out today.
At least the new washing machine was eventually delivered at 8.45pm.!!!!!!And the internet sorted around the same time!!!!!

Re: WHAT ****** YOU OFF TO-DAY.
Is it raining in Goa ? My friend Bugs has just started his 3rd trip down the coast from Mumbai to Goa.He has walked it twice now he is cycling it at a more leisurely pace.Hope he doesn't get a puncture too soon. Only 3 weeks to go before we step on the plane. My only worry is if that Mormon crackpot Romney gives the nod to that Israeli crackpot Netanyu to press the green button for an attack on Iran because my flight goes through Doha in the Gulf and there is a huge American base there on the airport.Instead of bombs they should drop hard core porn and free subscriptions to Sky Sports and Movie Channels. Lot cheaper too than slinging over cruise missiles. One lot will be to busy one handing it and the others will be watching footy to fight.
