Hi,

Which visa office did you apply to?

Did they use the Royal Mail or a courier company to deliver your visa?

They did not rush themselves with TAKING 23 DAYS then. Must not be any work targets to hit here then.

Sent by post! on the they received it on 7th October - you must keep tracking
your passport, and they wanted more information (don't ask why, because when we rang) they said no problem on application forms. After many emails, phone calls tears and tantrums. all back to-day. Old woman now
starting to recover from the stress.

If you mean David**r, across from Old Mango Tree I would give it a miss if I were you.

Better going online and sorting it for yourself, or maybe Libra Travels, Calangute (on the right just past the Jack Sequera statue, coming from Candolim), even Day Tripper (???)

If this wasn't the travel agent you meant, apologies in advance for bringing this unpleasant information to your attention.

Mods, this is not libelous, it is widely reported and the Sunday Times have done two undercover exposes where David boasts about his unnatural sexual tastes and his Goan co conspirators reveal their' network'. David is still alive, out and about.

Many suggest he has protection from a prominent local MLA. Wonder if he has any problems with visas?

Hi,

No wonder fewer tourists are going to Goa!

What with all the hassle that it involves obtaining a visa.

Do you think asking for more info was a delaying tactic to cover up their inability to supply your visa within a reasonable duration? I mean, 23 DAYS to obtain a visa is not good.

The Managers at this office need do to something to speed up the process.

Sunglow.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I for one shall never set foot in that particular travel agent.
People like him should not be allowed visas, but sadly seem to be able to get them with relative ease.
It is people like him who tarnish the reputation of decent foreign nationals.

Thought he had handed over the business to the lady who has worked for him for many many years, and left Goa about 2 years ago, has he returned?
Two years ago he was looking to move back to Wales.
People like that should not be allowed to walk the streets.

afaik the lady has been running the place for several years now, and I have had excellent service there. I don't know anything about David's (alleged) sins so can't comment (I do know he's quite old and was very ill a few years ago).

Yes, he's still around as of earlier this year, quite old, keeping low profile but still shows up at the office regularly, albeit with a driver and now needs walking stick.

Will probably see his days out in Goa.

Not commenting on the level of service at the agency which bears his name, just wouldn't personally do business there, not when I've witnessed him converting large amounts of rupees into pounds; 'a special arrangement with a good friend'.

Obviously the profits of the travel agency are still going to him in some capacity.
Don't be fooled just because he is old and has a walking stick - there are many paedophiles out there in much worse physical condition who are still actively participating in these despicable crimes. I don't care how frail or low key he is, I would still consider him a danger to any child.:curse:

Two men in scotland have just been given life for the same offence. I wonder if people with these sort of convictions who are out of prison have problems getting visa's. Why was this man let back into Goa?
Any way OFF TO CHIT CHAT  ON THIS SUBJECT. THANKS
