Hi TDK

Don't worry about Douglas, we have not upset him. I expect he has to keep his eye on the Share Markets, as they are dropping all over the place. He can't come out to play and watch his shares.

Hi Noni,

& i think you're right cos as you say it looks like the global economy is on the rocks right now what with knock on effect of sub-prime lending problems in the US etc, so no doubt D is glued to the shares screens Anyway hopefully he'll come out and play later

regards

Hi,

Yes it has just said that the market has had the biggest fall in 5 and half years. The Rupee is still just over 81 to to £1.

Hi

Think this applies to us all:-

Fooling ourselves.
Seeking advice isn't the same as looking for an answer.
We already know the anser, but we see advice because we
wish we didn't.

Hi Tony

I second that! besides 'little' is a relative word while often is much easier to understand

Not so much a thought, more a pause for thought;
I have been reading about this years top 20 grocery categories. The article starts: This year's top 20 grocery categories reflect consumers' willingness to spend more on products that are either healthy or indulgent.
The top category with sales of £8.71 Billion was , (want to have a guess?) No not bread, not meat, not salads or veg, not even chocolate
.................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............Alcohol.
So healthy or indulgent?
