Welcome SteveandPauline - to BE. I can see what you are trying to do is access the poll. Unfortunately you have to make three meaningful threads
to count before you can access pm system as per the Expats rules.

MLA Anil Salgaocar alleges every Goa minister is corrupt!

http://oheraldo.in/pagedetails.asp?nid=31141&cid=26

We all know that corruption exists in Goa, we have read enough newspapers, but these ministers have the final say on what happens regarding your properties bought in the state of Goa! A good reason to register your vote on our "Save Goa Poll"(from themselves) and telling us your story!
DON'T LEAVE IT TOO LATE!!!

Lewis

Meaningful threads!!!!!
Is this a joke? Some of us are drowing, we`ll clutch any straw.

Three meaningful threads> 1 of 3.
2 of 3
3 of 3 I`m in. What can I do?
They`re not joining some stupid tennis club. This is war. Bend the rules. Break the rules. Forget the rules.
I`ll stop here before I get banned.

Davie.

Now Now Davie boy - no tanties, it is BE's policy not mine, anyway they are up and running and have given their details to Lewis. Thanks SteveandPauline Please the rest of you do the same. The rest of BE are not aware of our situation out here in Goa. In fact the local Goans do not know that we are being threatened by their government to take away our properties, nor are they aware of the visa situation.

You`re right Noni, tantrums don`t get anyone, anywhere. Brought on by frustration. The people we`re dealing with don`t understand diplomacy, so Vicki, I feel, is wasting her time.

BE Italy are aware of our plight, I made sure of that. At least one couple are changing their holiday plans. BE is worldwide, all of us should be posting to all sites and make them aware of our situation. Unfortunately, Russia isn`t covered.

Regards,
Davie.

Hi Davie

Keep spreading the word. The more people who know of this appalling situation in Goa, the better.

Dread - spread it !

noni,
You must be joking.
All my technical abilities are used up just turning this machine on!!
However, my lingual skills are well known.60plus years to reach my present level of English.I feel if I really put my mind to it, I could knock a couple of months off this, and become proficient in Russian.
I feel a Russian entry by BE would be an excellent idea, but it would
require knowhow, which I don`t have.

beerski, vodkaski, Scochski, pissedski, I`m learning already.

Regards,
Davie.

The Russian Consulate have sarcastically offered to tell their people to retire at 10pm.Didn`t take them too long to suss out Goa.
No kidding, it would be a great idea to have access, via BE,to Russia.
Mainwaring has volunteered. Whoever controls these things should jump at this offer. We`re always talking of spreading the word, and Russia has more influence in India than UK has. Here`s an opportunity, lets take it.

Regardski,
Davie. ( with a Russian accent)

Hi Noni,
Do I get a green light to try contact the Russians (FNs.) It cannot do any harm. Discuss it among your team.

Keep Fighting Za Pobedu ( For Victory )

I most certainly would encourage the British Expats site to introduce a Russian forum and not only for Russian purchasers of property in Goa, but Russia generally! I am sure that there are Russian buyers of property in Goa, who have been mislead similarly to buyers from the UK and may be that they can shed some light on those builders, agencies and advocates too!
