Just booked, British airways is the cheapest non-stop on e-bookers, £578 for 9th Dec. Prices go up on 10th. Would have preferred Jet but more expensive on todays rates.
We paid a bit more to get the overnight flight as staying in Mumbai for a time and want to avoid arriving in early hours.

Ugh! ugh!
why is it whenever I purchase clothes in India for anybody, whatever the price, the colours run. If I purchase a dress in UK and find "Made in India" on the lable - the cloths are o.k.

i will always fly Jet! The connections are great and good service!
Nearer the £600 mark at present!
Plus they are partners with many of the Asian airlines so the air miles soon stack up!!
In less than a year I`ve accumulated enough miles for a free one-way London to Mumbai!

All clothes I buy in India I wash with a load of salt before I wear them, my Dughter in law once bought a caftan, put it on when she was still wet and ended up with the pattern on her skin. Luckily it did wash off easily.

I personally will never go with Quatar again having tried them this year and experienced the misery of a long delay and two long transfer times at Doha. I never though being in transit could be so miserable. I had been fooled by their advertising that they were five star. Believe me that is only for First and Business class. When you are Economy and waiting 22 hours all you get offered are two meals of curry/rice priced at aroundd 30 Ruppes I would guess and a choice of , wait for it: a cold drink or a coffee. No way to have both!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would agree that their service on baord was fine but this got completely obliterated by the no star servicve in the airport. Not for me.

Is that the river where the cross is in, saw the men on a long boat taking garlands to put on the cross.
Are you in the UK on the visa run? let us know how you get on. Looked at the price of flights as I would like to spend time in the Monsoon, but very expensive at the moment.
