There is also lots of the wet stuff - told powerhouse it was nice and sunny in the morning and cloud in the afternoon but for the last 36 hours it has "lagged" it down - relentlessly - got very wet going to market even wearing our UK wet
weather gear.

Are you being serious noni - loads of this heart clogging stuff. On the BBC website there's an article saying it has been India's weakest monsoon for 40 years - it must be getting to the end of the monsoon in Goa now?
On the coast in the North West of the UK, I think September has been exceptionally dry (not me, the weather) - there has been hardly any rain for the whole month, a few warm sunny days but mostly just cloudy - at least it's been dry though.

So passing the local branch of "Going Places", I wandered in and asked what deals they had to Goa? (academic question as at present the thought of returning fills me with genuine nausea)
Reply was along the lines of "Oh you don't want to go there sir, horrible place!"
When I asked what was so bad about the place, the exact answer was "These days there is very little good about it"
Of course they then tried to sell me on places like Cuba, but I'd had my fun and wandered off..............

Thanks - you made me laugh with this post - so dry and a unique approach to market research !
By the way - Cuba is lovely. The Cubans like us !

My mate and I were a bit bored the other afternoon and discussing our idea of the holiday from hell, so decided to check the holidays uncovered website reviews.
Well it seems Benidorm is the friendly place for us Brits to go as here are a few of the comments we found ;
- " The hotel was near the beach and we found a spot right near Burger King, it was a lovely spot, and we didn't have to walk far to get lunch..."
- "the entertainment was great especially Jason and Gary who did the karaoke"
- "the hotel entertainment was great and by the third night I had learnt all the words to the songs..."
- " The entertainment was realy good with lots of choice from karaoke and Bingo to quiz nights and theme nights like Grease and HSM"
- "the hotel was ok but all they played was Spanish music..."
After collapsing with laughter, I decided that Im off to Goa again this year!!!

P.S. - plus if I got on my bike to come & sort it out, my legs would most likely have fallen off before I got there!

you have to pay there as well. Been online if it was not Vista could have tried Restore, but this one asks too many complicated things Hem, you know me switch on, switch off, email, copy and paste. No worry will get it fixed when a friend comes back from holidays.

Still under guarantee - but didn't take the extra insurance out on it, PC world now say we have to pay. Left the showroom with number to telephone, rang it and they refused to help as I had not bought their Tech.cd. Rang Dell
