I am going by the time difference I expect him and Mrs. D. are tucked up in bed now in Malaysia, as it is 10.20 here in UK.

Douglas doesnt talk much in bed and he is much misunderstood.
It is not that douglas has unusual powers of persuasion, it is more that the original statement, premise or argument is flawed.

Glad to hear things are improving at your end. Douglas can paint a picture with words, particularly if he has a strong subject like colour purple.
Property owners crutch is still prevalent here, the symptoms are not so obvious as yours but it can be an uncomfortable condition never the less. I have feeling that leaseholders lock jaw which we are seeing more and more cases of, might prove resistant to most antibiotics.
That is mainly because the lease holders will not take their full course of treatment and insist that all is well, long before they are completely cured.

Interesting times articles that are at last getting near to the truth, even more interesting is the impression given by the FNs who had actually managed to register a sale and now feel that they are secure in goa. They obviously haven't considered the ongoing hurdles they have yet to face such as visa renewal and d of e investigations.
The comment by the registrar that FN registrations were down by 90% was really funny, maybe it has something to do with the fact that his office wont accept them. Arent indian officials wonderful.

Hi Douglas,
Do you remember the hit song in the seventies by Alabama 3, 'Aint going to Goa'.........maybe they should re-release it......probably be an instant hit. Was looking for it on google and found it attached to someones holiday snaps of Goa.
Have a look and a listen.........and remember 'Dont you go to Goa now'

I do remember it and our freinds in goa very kindly sang it to us when they heard we were asked to leave. We adopted it and also sang "aint goin to goa no more" (on our better days)

Hi All,
Apart from Goa being doomed..........does anyone actually know who is in Government there, as i have lost track with all the in fighting?
Congress or BJP or neither?
Remy

Congress is still there and a few of the BJP are supposed to be moving over to join them, there is an interview on Goan Voice where the Chief Minister was asked why he thought the vote of no confidence was brought, he blamed the Land grabbers, from Dubai, West Asia
and yes you guessed it Noff land, plus others he says.Regards

Funny thing is we seem to be taking the flak but not many landgrabbers are from the UK.

Thanks for that...............iv sort of lost the plot with all the bribes, resignations, defects, etc.........for a minute i thought power had passed to the 'Screaming Lord Sutch party'............who would probably have done a better job of things..................
Im definately heading for Arthur Road or Aquada Fort......Oh no flashbacks of the film 'Deliverance'........"squeal like a pig boy!"
.... i wonder if its possible to get Ormo Bread there.Regards,
Remy

We can't afford it.

Power will always protect money because without it they wouldn't have any.
Even if you are a minority of one the truth is still the truth (Gandi) and a lie will travel round the world while truth is getting it's boots on.
They have to point at somebody and those with no voice cry out the least.

The Raving Monster Loony Party had it's HQ in a pub down the road from where I live, you wouldn't want to go there.
It reminds me more of Midnight Express, doubt it would be like Porridge

Notice on Goan Voice that, that woman is back trying to flog property to the Irish in Belfast, said to give Goa a Punt or a Rupee, obviously no idea of currency, separation or geography.
