I have met these types as well Hem - there are plenty of them out there - and they come in all colours, ages and nationalities alongside the white British !

You're spot on - " Apathy Rules OK" seems to be the UK way !
(And that includes the apathy when it comes to regulating benefits to ensure the sytem is not abused !!)

Cheers Hem - enjoy your beer

Surely the point here is one Muslim man ie. four wive's, each having three children. Is everyone here suggesting they live in one house, like the comparable 'white or British' single parent with however many children, by God knows how many fathers.
If everyone can't see the benefits to the Muslim claiming for four houses, twelve children, he probably moves them all into one house and rents out three houses:blink:
This perhaps the point of the DM article, but wasn't this the subject of a Lady pier's rant?

 thank you

It is bad enough to allow UK citizens to take the p... of the benefit system, but when these foreigners are allowed to scrounge off us, marry in other countries, bring their breeding women here to take advantage of our system I for one think it is atrocious, especially when our own sick and pensioners are going without.

Hey Gregit
Nice to see you back - we missed ya. :D

The Muslim way of life where effectively four wives claim four lots of benefits, numerous lots of child allowance, four sums of rent, and gets four rented properties IS the whole point of the DM article. I have no doubt that many Muslim families operate quite a lucrative little business in renting out the properties paid for in benefits to house 'the wives', especially when they rent them out to other Muslims in what is relatively closed community.

This opened up comments on other forms of system abuse that is equally as unacceptable yet commonplace, which goes on all over the UK, regardless of race etc. Plenty of British men have kids by several different women, so if a British guy has 3 partners, a couple of kids by each one, is unemployed, that still means three lots of benefits, housing allowance, and three houses.

The point I make is that the whole system in the UK is so messed up that one can actually have a lucrative career when it comes to obtaining money from the state, especially if prepared to indulge in a little deception or six. My other point is that the ones who seem to benefit to the greatest extent are those who have never contributed. It needs one almighty overhaul, with enthusiastic 'benefit police' who rigurously check up on claimants on a regular basis

Absolutely !!!!!
All these scroungers should get nothing ! Don't mind one bit helping the genuinely disabled or those temporarily unable to work but seeking gainful employment - but the lazy workshy and rip of merchants should get zilch

I think the people you refer to are British. Those from European Union are a different issue.
It has been said several times on this forum that immigrants should integrate into "British way of life", I suppose scrounger immigrants are doing just that and joining with other British scroungers and breeders in getting what they can.
As Dread has said the benefits system needs an overhaul.

Unfortunately Bipat, that seems to be the only form of "integration" some immigration communities are prepared to make !!!!

Why Goa airport lacks a bus service

26 Sep: CNN Go. … Goa airport, where the union of taxi drivers, in connivance with politicians, have successfully thwarted all attempts for a bus service … "When Damania (Airlines) introduced a free bus service from the city office to and from the airport in Goa, the buses were attacked. The government did not intervene and just looked the other way. This is also one of the foremost reasons why foreign tourists dislike coming to Goa, for the first hurdle they are faced with on landing is the unreasonable demands of taxi drivers." …
