Happy days
I got my mossie screens from Modern Fabricaters, name,Anil Pednekar, phone number,9822147227,
they are excellent, about £10 per window, he is also does other things like security grills, aluminium windows, sintex doors, and like a swish curtain rail, his work is very good. I have recommended him to a lot of people who have been very pleased with the results. He is a very busy man but gets there in the end, I have been in 3 propertys now, and had the man to do the mossie screens, ect in them all. Wen

I had know problems getting a refund from Acron, minus a commission that my friend made who introduced me to them of £200 and £300 for admin costs. I was a bit peeved that this money was deducted from me but also relieved that I actually got most of my money back. I have been visiting India for the past 10 years and staying up to 6 months at a time. Like most people, I fell in love with Goa and decided that a holiday home there would be a good investment. I spoke to people who had invested in Goa and also to the developer who all assured me that obtaining the freehold could be done without much hassle....but that sadly wasnt the case!! We will be going back to India in February for my birthday but will happily rent a property rather than attempting to buy..I wish everyone all the luck in the world and hope that the government go easy on u all and that ur dreams turn out ok in the end!!

Hi Noni and all you lovely people in Acronshire !!

My flat purchase in the TRNC is going ahead ok at the moment, the land it is is sited on has a pre 1974 title assigned to a Turkish Cyrpiot family.

I think that buying anywhere at the moment is a risky business and I remain philosohpical about my future plans.

I'm being helped a little by my girlfiriends extended family, who are Turkish Cyrpiot and have sorted out bank accounts and cheap accommodation for us both when the time comes to up sticks and go over there.(Her uncle Mehmet owns a hotel in Kyrenia, natch!!)

We're holidaying there in January '08 with her cousins in Kyrenia,so we hope to uncover any more potential obstacles that may be lying in wait for us !!

I do hope you all have a great Christmas with loads of Noffi etc....

Keep in touch all of you....

Best wishes

Keith

We haven't really investigated furnitire too much yet, although we have our kitchen lined up and mosquito doors and windows. If you e-mail us direct before you get to Goa it would be good to meet up, and maybe we can share useful hints. Tony & Tina (masurubu)
Hi Tony & Tina, will be going out in two weeks time, have sent you a PM look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Calvin and Susanne!
It's Alisun Chopel (we met in '98 in Dharamsala). How are you? My phone with your number in it broke, and I just googled your names, and wha-la- this came up. I'd love to hear from you and know about your family and get back in touch. Here's my e-mail: [email protected].
I hope you both and the little ones are all great.

Hi We visited goa for the first time 6 weeks back and fell in love with the place and have bought a flat through Acron in Villa Vera and would like some feedback as to how you have found dealing with them and are you pleased with all their paper work . we have signed but have not taken any legal advice on the documents and deeds . Do you advice to do so and also is there any negitiability on their brochure prices/
would love to hear from you

Hi Rama,
I have spoken with many Acron owners whilst in Goa and I didn't hear a bad word said about Acron or the standard of workmanship in their developments.
It is difficult to find a good lawyer in Goa to act on your behalf, so I'm afraid it does put a certain amount of risk on the buyer. Acron and a few other builders in Goa do have good track records spreading over many years. So my advice is to speak with past customers and see what they say about their experiences.
I personally have found them to be very open and honest, just wish I was a PIO then I'd be really happy.
Regards
Bryson
