Hi Rose, Dave and i were thinking of doing the same thing, we cannot take time off over the christmas and new year (apart from the odd few days) so we were thinking of going over in January for about 3 or 4 weeks and hopefully get things done. When we were over in March Dave would chat to a guy on the beach, Len, he and his wife moved over there 2 year ago, bought their place through Acron and had no meager problems, they said any advise or any help of where to buy things they'd be more than happy to help. They bought a villa just off the main road in Candolim and got most of their furniture made, exciting but a little frightening.
Spoke to Dave this morning, he said his head feels a bit like :scared: after there big night out last night, he said that most of Newcastle were down there, every pub they went into they chatted to someone they knew, now just cannot wait to get home.

Well, we drink little and not too often. Soft drinks and tea/coffee are more our style. Anyway, we should try and arrange to have coffee together when we are in Candolim. What do you think? Chandu and Raziya

If you have bought in Micon Plaza then we could be neighbours. I have bought in Micon Plaza and received my letter to take possession but despite repeated requests still no photos from the builder. Did you manage to get any Photos. I have got some but only for the early stages of construction

Hi Sue and Dave, thank you for your reply. I apologise that I didn't check the site until today. Yes, it would be great to see you both in Goa. We'll be staying at Alegria de Goa Beach Resort in Candolim. I haven't got their telephone number at the moment, but will get it soon. We have got to sort out one or two dates which we can't do until the beginning of December, but as soon as it is done, I'll be in touch to arrange a mutually convenient time: coffee for us and 'hard stuff' for you two! Not long to go now.

I am out in Goa at the moment and thought you might like to know that we visited Micon Plaza yesterday. They have finished all the flats, bar painting a couple, and are halfway round the external paintwork. The interior road is finished and the development is looking well.

I need to go back there on Wednesday or Thursday, if you want any further info/photos, just send me a private message on this website and I will be pleased to help out.

Hi Chandu, sorry its took so long to get back to you but our computer is a bit old and temperamental, only works when it wants to. Hope yous are both well and not long to go now. not to sure where we are staying, there's been a problem with our hotel, they are building around it and so we are trying to arrange different accommodation but we let you know about that later. Hi Keith good to hear from someone else who has bought in Villa Maria thanks for posting the photos there really good. We are going out on the 27th of January can`t wait to see for ourselves how things are progressing.
How did everything seem to you ? Is the development still on track to be completed next December ? Sorry to bombard you I`ve got a thousand questions. But the main thing is did you have a good holiday? Mick and I are from Sheffield and buying a place of our own in Goa has been a dream for a long time. We just need to win the lottery now so we can have long winters in Goa and short summers in England.
