Was driving through the marais today, flooding not as bad as usual, but still very pretty

Cool photos Val,has it been raining up there?I know it sounds a stupid question,but its been really lovely here.Val I actually took some photos today.

Isn't it lovely to see so much blue sky.
Haven't had any rain here for a week or so, but the local marais floods
every year and the fields are under water for a month or so.
Feels more like Spring than winter at the moment but supposed to drop below zero tonight as there is no cloud.

I was on the way home from a friends on Sunday tea-time ish, and thought this would make a nice shot. It's untitled as yet, but I call it 'racines' as the branches look like roots....

Hey guys, Val, Dreamy, Le Chant and Tiddlypom, some stunning photo's (again). I hadnt realised just how much Marais looks like the sea this time of year (Val-photo 1) until i looked at that shot.
Its incredible how we all, well me at least, have taken all the stunning images for granted. Its only when you sit back at look at the shot you realise just how lucky you are.

Love that hut. That is a must have. Can you dismantle and pop it in your case on your return?

Hut ? i'm mortified
It's no less than a 3 bedroom villa, in St philip which is great for surfers but not so good if you want a paddle,
but it is wonderful here but missing home a little .... actually im not missing the cold
although some of the houses here are shacks or 'chatel houses' and gonna go out later and get some pics
