Henderson Park is miles better than Galt Gardens it has a lovely play area for the kids and really nice walk around the Lake. Please give Galt Gardens a wide Berth unless you mean the Galt Museum wich is nice for a historical look at Lethbridge, but not that inspiring for little ones but a lovely view of the Coulees tho.
Henderson Park is your best bet take a brew and a foot ball itl be nice.
On Sat Pizza Hut do there all you can eat Buffett thing wich is good value for a family. On the right hand side going down Mayor Mgrath.

Hey when this little one is tired not even a strangers house will put her off falling asleep

She was brought up in a routine and when she is tired she knows she can sleep, even when we used to go away in the caravan
Tired her out this morning, shes been blowing bubbles at the cows, the poor things woundered what has been going on

Got an email from her little boyfriend this morning (well his mum) and hes missing her like crazy
oops

Hello peeps,
Well as you know the OH and I did a lot of talking and decided to look at returning to the UK after 10 months of being here..
Off he went last weekend back to the UK (a few days after the decision) to have an interview, and was sent away being told that he would have to wait a couple of weeks before they got back to him (please see other confuse thread!)
Then, since Wednesday afternoon, we have talked non stop about stuff.
The state of play is this ..............
Whatever the outcome we are going to keep on keeping on in letbridge with him working away three weeks rather than 4 at a time and home for two hopefully and then going on a two on and two off rotation in the winter for the heliskiing
The reasons that made us want to stay (and believe me I really tried to convince myself with little luck that going back was a better option, but all I did was end up arguing with a friend
and getting more down in the dumps!) were the kids have settled, we are happier here (with the exception of not being together as much as we hoped) we both want this for the kids, and we both quite like life here too...........
New Outlook will be:
we are going to really concentrate on quality time when he is at home and I am going to kick myself up the arse and get back to the gym, take the job that I was offered and really try to proactively have someone to look after the kids one evening a week so I can get some me time (as it is I go for months without an hour to myself - quite literally and then meet up with Minihaha and get rip roaring drunk (not good
) ) The living apart from each other will never be an ideal situation, but the bringing our kids up in the UK, knowing that we have thrown away this opportunity doesn't feel good either.
So that's us for the moment.
We are now looking to head to mexico on holiday on Sunday for 10 days, for some sea, sun, and sex to be quite frank !!!! So yes, I am looking forward to that.....
I just want to say thank you to everyone, for your words of support and understanding. And would say to anyone out there who's feeling like chucking the towel in, to take time, stand back and as Iaink said, be careful of the 10months window period. I think it's when real life and the exhaustion of having got here finally kicks in.
However, it was amazing how many people PMd and said they haven't had the guts to really talk it through with people etc, or didn't want to tell their partner, or that they felt like they were dying inside, I can honestly say, it was at the point where it was put on the table that I was able to see things much more clearly..............that how us women work after all eh? talking stuff through works.
The kids are pleased, the cat looks relieved and Me and Mr Miggins are feeling good about our decision. We are stll going to try and sell the house, as Minihaha pointed out, I have always hated this house, so hopefully finding somewhere I feel at home will really help too. And I would also say, that the summer being here (gorgeous day here today!) helps a bit too.
I have been given some great advice on here, in all sorts of tactful and not so tactful ways but all equally as valuable, and am really pleased to have you all as part of my life in cyber world.
So Minihaha, Gay, Sheffspurs, you're stuck with me and thank you all for being you
Take the best of care, and I'll have a pina colada or two for you all next week.
(Iaink don't get too smug ............
)
Anyway, I best go defuzz, pluck and do all that stuff to get ready, because one thing is for sure - this is one cyber person who truly deserves a holiday
Adios Amigos and chat to you all soon
