I'm also a qualified rugby coach and have approached schools and colleges to coach for free - but no-one plays it up here. (weird)!!

That picture was taken on Canada Day 2010 - I was trying to 'fit in'.

What about soccer coaching.

My lad plays soccer all year round here. Indoors during the winter.

He also played rugby league in the UK.

Edit. Reffing soccer games pays 25~50 bucks a game paid for by the home team. Another avenue you could look at if you can find a course in your area.

Cheers.
Do you have a workshop, or space to build one?

You sound like you'd be fairly "handy" so why not trawl the car forums and see what they need made?

For example, here in the UK during the big JDM frenzy, everyone wanted off-set number plates. These needed special brackets made up, so a few enterprising individuals made some trial brackets, got lots of interest and eventually has a shit-load made in China for 52p and sold them to the masses.

That sort of thing is always required. I have my own little plan for a part that's need for Mazda MX5's, but that's MINE, you're not getting it, lol.

There's also loads of opportunities if you have some capital. Lots of Chinese websites offering all sorts of bulk buy items. Ipod carries for 10p if you buy a squillion etc, lol.

Are you arty at all?

You could come up with some clever designs and try and sell them on "CafePress" or the like. They take care of production, you just get a cut of anything that sells.

Back to cars...

If you have space, you could buy and strip cars for parts. I bought an MX5 last year for £80 and sold the parts for £1500. I'm sure the same is possible in Canada.

Or you could train in "Paintless Dent Removal" Look it up on Youtube. You can charge a fortune for that sort of thing. I have the tools, but never got round to training, might do it in Canada. Not much room required for tools.

You may have noticed all my ideas are car related, lol.

It's just my thing

I was talking to a fellow fire fighter last night at the hall. Found out his mrs is the principal at a local school so I told him I'd coach anything, for free, just to get me out the house !

I was also thinking of a little earner from home though....................

I sat next to a guy on a plane who did that for a living, we were flying to Kansas or Nebraska or some such place where there'd just been a hail storm. He said he set his machinery up in a tent and made a whole "Hey Presto!" production out of taking cars behind the curtain and bringing them out again with their dents sucked. Good money but lots of short notice travel was his story.

Lol. I just did the same. The golf club is bigger than the town, hence my last brain storming brilliant idea.

LOL You neighbours must love you car breaking on your drive. I'd hate to see what that does to property prices!
