Dunno, I just use "no name" liquid and it gets even the shittiest diapers clean, the detergent chemistry is all basically the same, and I cant tell the difference myself<shrugs>. We used to buy the name brand stuff, but not anymore. With the cheap stuff its not so painfull to put more in, which is probably the most important factor anyway.

Now, Kleenex bog roll, thats another thing :) . They started to sell it here in Walmart, but its dissappeared again and now we can only get it in really expensive tiny 4 pack rolls at the local drugstore. An expensive luxury compared to domestic arsefodder, but one we cant do without now :(

Ditto. I dreamt of living in a high-rise flat because of M, M & M. I was so jealous of people living in council flats in towns when I was little :o Towns also had mysterious fancy-dress shops that led to strange lands. It all seemed very exotic from my little village.

I was also in the Tufty club, remember Spangles and once choked on a Blob (bet nobody remembers them, and Secret Agents).

Those were the things. I think it was a strawberries and cream one I choked on. Couldn't eat them after that.

Secretly deep down I think we have our best chance in many years of winning the thing, but we need a bit of luck and for Brazil's key players to continue to show the dodgy form they have showed for their club teams most of this year. There, I said it out loud. That should jinx any chance England had!

It now appears the England has a built in excuse if they don't do well.

Don't lose faith

We've won games before without Wayne Rooney :scared: :D

Don't we always have major drama before a big tournament? thats what get us all involved and talking about it

Rooney or no Rooney it won't stop me screaming and shouting at the ref or the TV for that matter.

Anyone watch the Lineker and Maradonna interview on BBC last night?

EN-GER-LAND EN-GER-LAND COME ON LADS :D

Last time I checked, football was a team sport.

Hmmm...

Is everybody implying that England's team is built around one player?

Imagine the damage all this is doing to the confidence of the rest of the squad. It's like saying "You're all shit. Rooney's the only good player we've got."

I have to agree Mr Lee

Although Wayne Rooney is a fantastic player and will be missed by the team

we also have other Fantastic players, which other countries are envious of and given the chance would'nt disclued and demoralise them.

Come on as a country lets get behind our boys and not drag them down
Its time to stand up and be proud, we have a good team, we've more chance of winning the world cup than ever before.

i would have been more concerned losing Stevie G or Big Frank..... can't remember any goals Rooney scored during qualifying but I may be wrong. He will be missed for sure but hey .... enjoy the summer in the pub !

Same thing happened to Beckham last time right and we adapted and survived. Loosing Rooney (which seems pretty certain now) is a big blow for sure, he's a class player (if not a classy player), but we still get to play at least three games anyway :p

We still have a lot of good players, I think a lot rests on Joe Coles creative abilities now and how they can get structure the team to get him involved.

He may not have scored during the qualification stage but his presence more than make up for the lack of goals. He is such a handful and will cause any defence problems. As for Gerrard. I can't remember the last decent game he had for England. Lampard is class I agree. Bottom line is our chances are severely diminished without Rooney in the team.

Sorry - but the proof is in the results! Since I got my miele washer and the persil after ten years of the local crap (IMO), I see a dramatic difference :)
