Actually Mick, I live in Toronto unlike yourself and I've never heard anyone refer to it as that. Must be a redneck suburban thing.
Plus there are plenty of Chinese people out there that go by the name Timmy.

Am only 40mins from TO Guv, and have heard it so many times.

yes I've heard of Ho Jo, T.O and even T dot. Are you sure you aren't creating some kind of hybrid name from Timmy's and Ho Jo?
