It's too close to America

Many people consider Canada's proximity to the US to be a bonus. These are often the same people who go to outlet malls as a recreational activity and wish that Canada had IHOP or Bob Evan's locations.

Kelowna has an IHOP. Perhaps it was built to cater for the overweight retarded Yanks who used to head this way for summer vacations. Uh, well that was before 911 and the rising cost of gasoline and hamburgers.

I empathise! My wrists and ankles are a sea of blood volcanoes. The little twats manage to land without you noticing and suck you dry! I've lived / worked in West Africa, Far East, Middle East, Aussie, South America, Scotland... and I have never, ever had so many bites as I've had here. Plus, they're super-itchy for some reason!!
