I hear you dingbat and tomorrow I will kick myself for not listening to your wise words but 4 for £4! I've made a commitment!

I'm making an ass of myself already, aren't I? :o

I disagree. It's a personal ambition of mine to kill, butcher and eat a cow. Otherwise what are we at the top of the food chain for?

For me vegetarianism is the thin end of the wedge. Why kill plants as well. It's just as murderous as killing animals. You are still ending the life of an organism to extend your own.

No-one winges about the way that lions kill and eat their food. I think that this psuedo-humanitarianism is frankly pathetic.

I think there's something to this. I eat a mostly vegetarian diet but when I get the chance I eat salmon. I LOVE salmon. I have gone fishing, caught salmon, clubbed it, gutted it and eaten it and its roe raw, right there in the boat. I feel have a good relationship with salmon. I could not do the same to a cow or pig or cat so I don't eat beef, pork or special fried rice. Same goes with a lot of other beasts.

I have also followed and hunted the great tofu herds across the prairies...

Yeah, my pet carrot runs and hides every time I pull out a bottle of balsamic vinegar.

Bingo. Now I'm going to cut a tangelo in half and eat it right on the spot - without even clubbing it! The cruelty.

How would you make slaughterhouse practices more humane? By tickling the cows to death?
