Here here! I am incontinently irradiated by constipated pinheads who launch one Saudi thread drift[-er] after another. Enough already!
In the interesterification [fat] of keeping things in focaccia, may I suggestion these articles to get thingies back on track [29]?

All threads drift sooner or later, it's sometimes better to break your questions up, you tend to get the answers you need in the 1st page of answers before subjects drift, it's just like having an ordinary converstaion really...

OK, back on topic, from a business point of view I find most Canadians I have met to be fairly laid back, they dont seem to have been whipped up into a larther over there property prices, we in Britain have been brain washed by Maggie to Buy buy buy even when we dont no the first thing about property ownership, In Canada there are IMOP far fewar sharks swimming around than here in the UK, The one thing I have noticed about the UK reccession is that its turned millions of people into Liars and cheats, our phone now ring with every single excuse to why they cant pay there bills, very few people just admitting there broke, they would rather make it "Your Fault" rather than just admit there broke, In Canada we find the slower pace with less urgency a very nice thing, The UK is sinking and the more good people who leave only bring more rats to the surface.

Hope this is still within the topic of "The Difference"

You won't notice this effect in Canada, largely because Canadians were broke a long time before the recession, and due to lower interest rates here have chosen to take this and use it as an opportunity to increase there debt to asset ratio..

You accuse the British of being brain washed by Maggie to Buy buy buy even when they dont no the first thing about property ownership..
I’d like you to consider that Canadians have been brainwashed by the American media to buy buy buy without understanding the first thing about credit

I dont understand, are you saying people in the UK country are more likely to shaft you over? They seem just as nice as rural canadians to me, having lived in both places.

Do you not like successful immigrants? You could substitute English for Asian/East Indian or a host of other nationalities for the same activity in BC. You're doing exactly the thing you appear to be deriding - buying a business in another country and potentially pissing off the locals

You dont see the irony in seemingly complaining about the English moving to Scotland and buying into the community, but wishing to move to Canada and do the same thing yourself?

Well there is a difference. There is just so much immigration to BC, and also BC is a relatively new place. Immigration is almost part of daily life. Scotland is populated by lots of Scots and has a long history, kamikaze's post seems to suggest that there are suddenly lots of English moving there, compared to BC where there has and will be a continuous stream of immigrants to increase the population so it won't really "change" because thats just how it is.

I can see the irony but to reach it requires oversimplifying the issue an uncomfortable amount for me personally.

Kamikaze's post doesn't suggest anything sudden about the issue in Scotchland. He called it a 'problem', and yet he's own desire is to mirror the 'problem' in Canada. Hardly an oversimplification of irony, IMO.

I don't understand the point you're trying to make. My neighbours are German, Dutch, and Norwegian. So what? Should I worry about the lack of Canadians on my immediate doorstep?

BTW, 9 farms covering that acreage aren't large You need 100 acres per head of cattle here.
