I spoke about a perception and if you read the forums, this is not a new one. I also said that of course immigration fraud and manipulation is a problem - that is the same everywhere -- but also that immigration & skilled workers is a more complex issue than the "Daily Mail" feverish pitches that can resound ie. it is conflating of basic issues. Genuine skilled work or competencies can contribute, and can also be very valid for a country's economic and social policies. And likewise, not every immigrant óutside the door' is a job stealing lunatic with dishonest intentions.

It is not irrelevant in a discussion, and in case you didn't notice, this is a British Expat forum where those in and outside of Canada are free to comment.

But yes I see why you are the Canadian Daily Mail now at least. Go figure.
