Agreed! I still don't like them, though.

Yup, he broke new grounds and set a style that some try to emulate and many fail.
Only one Swede that I have ever met seemed depressed All the other Swedes seemed pretty positive and out-going. Anyway I think most people associate high suicide rates with Finland and not Sweden.

Exactly, that is how most of us are.

Wow! That is news to me. Mind you, two school shootings in Finland in one year. You might be on to something.

When I Lived in Saint Petersburg just over the border from Finland, I would often see loads of drunk men around both in the day and night trying to walk down the street. At first, I thought they were Russians but was informed afterwards that most were Finnish men who were so depressed that they got some sort of solace from the bottle.

Finn's have a reputation of being drunks and heavily in to their vodka, just as the russians.

Swede's are generally hated at ski-resorts in the alps because they get so drunk and cause damage to hotels. Some hotels ban swedes.

Every country has bad apples.

4 years in UK I've had enough of chavs, yobs and drunks on the streets. Made sweden look like a good place.

Depends on where you want to be. Lower than UK and Spain. Around the same as Toronto.

Indeed.
So property prices are cheap then in Sweden if they are similiar to the Toronto area?

Even today, listening to Moving Pictures and Tom Sawyer sends me into another world Closely followed by 2112 and A Farewell to Kings.

Was just looking at equestrian farms. You can get 10+ acres, paddocks, out door school, stables 4+ horses, nice house, ocean view on the west coast for $1.5 and up.

I can't say 2112 is a fave. But I do like Moving Pictures. The live album "Show Of Hands" is brilliant.

I also like the latest one, "snakes and Arrows" but wasn't too impressed by Vapourtrail.

I like prog rock in general and am a huge fan of Saga as well, Spocks Beard isn't too shabby either. Then there is Genesis.

Big fan of Prog rock as well. Early 70`s British Prog rock (Yes) and mid 70`s American Prog rock (Kansas) Of the later Prog stuff big fan of Dream Theater.

West coast so this would be looking towards Denmark. Still would probably get the same think cheaper in Canada. Have found areas like the Hamilton and Niagara regions very cheap in Canada along with the Durham region as well. Its a surprise given they are not too far from Toronto.
