Indeed - and many indigenous people couldn't give a shit either way. My wife works in the health sector and that's the feedback they're getting from indigenous folk

To be fair, the UK media isn't mentioning it much.

One of my colleagues, before I left Aus, is from a large aboriginal family, and he said much the same. Most of those he knows either don't care at all, or think its a really bad idea.

I doubt the British media will ever mention it unless there is a No vote. Then they can lick their lips and bring out the headline. "Australia is the most racist country on earth".
