It's utterly utterly hilarious, the Indians getting on their high horses about this. But rather than posit my own views on the subject, I think this diagram illustrates the point better than mere words can.

So if Indians are so stupid that they think they're more likely to get killed here in Oz than they are in their own backyard, then they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a visa in the first place.

And here it is in murders per capita.

# 26 India: 0.0344083 per 1,000 people
# 43 Australia: 0.0150324 per 1,000 people

India / Australia = 0.0344083 / 0.0150324 = 2.288942551

If an Indian kills an Indian in India, is it racist? Don't different castes hate each other and kill each other? Is that racist or is there such a thing as castist?

And if a man kills a woman is that sexist? What about if an Indian man kills an non-Indian woman? Is that sexist or racist?

All these isms just confuse me.

If I hate my next door neighbour who happens to be a Kiwi and I decide to kill him, is it a racist killing or a neighbourist killing or if he did something really really wrong would it be justified(ist).

If it's a man it's definitely justified.

He's actually really nice, they both are considering they're Kiwis ;). Just wondered, you know, if ever the situation came up, what defence would be the best, that he's a Kiwi, that he's a neighbour or that he did something wrong. Tricky one.

Well, last time I killed someone I used the "time of the month" defense. Worked a charm. Now, the time before I tried the "justifiable" defense and had a bit harder time with the jury. Apparently some of the jurors didn't think leaving his socks on the bedroom floor was reason to bludgeon a man to death.

Didn't know if that one had been overdone or not. However it could work if I added the bit about him being a Kiwi as well. They'd have to let me off surely:unsure:

hard stats are not available is my guess. Having said that, Chinese government has got a hang of executing its own electoral base, left and right. ;) What category would that fall into?

All these -isms help create a perception that any situation can be described and fit into categories as easy as one-two-three, without actually trying to understand what went down. To some it appears to be giving a feel that they are in control, to others it means they know everything and can preach to the rest (media included).

I didn’t think there would be plenty (but still enough to cause issues). Otherwise the Australia wouldn’t be an immigrant country.

Hard to believe.
I always heard the other way around. I am not focusing on Indians. I am looking at all minorities.
