An IMMIGRANT is a person who comes to live in the country and is NOT born in that country.

About 75% of the Australian population are Australian born, meaning about 25% are Immigrants.

The original Aboriginals are the same as everyone else, they also migrated here, but 40,000 years ago.

99% of people in Australia are immigrants. It does not matter if you were born in Australia ,as long as your parents, grandparents or forefathers were not born in Australia you will be an immigrant.tHINK deepely and ask yourself were you are from.EVERY PERSONS HAS ROOTS and heritage

The "Shoot First and Ask Questions After They Are Well And Truely Dead Party"

or

The "Squeeze 'em In And Make 'em Pay Who Cares If They Turn The Place Into A Eurasian Pigsty Party".

Which would get your preferences?

The Indians are very quick to call any attack against them a racist attack. The other groups especially the Chinese seem to take it in their stride.

I'll repeat what I've said on other threads re this subject.... If Indians want to look at successful Asian Integration they should look towards the Chinese, Vietnamese, and Malaysians, who are doing a fantastic job of fitting in.

You'll find they get attacked on average just as much as everyone else.... I've never heard them calling the race card.

Now what we have is people very aware that Indians want to be treated overall as "special" Which is not the way Australia works.

You do realise there have been substantial pockets of Fijian Indians here for 2 or 3 decades ? they've never had a problem. I think their expiereince in Fiji may have helped them with integration.

Write the name of your party on the ticket and vote informal.

The statistics show Indians arent attacked any more then any other group, but whenever one of them is attacked they always make a big deal out of it and say its a racist attack and how racist OZ is, Often it turns out the atttackers are other Indians or from another non-white immigrant group so it has nothing to do with race. They seem to like to always portray themselves as victims of racism. l don't know why.

What is racism ? As long as the accuser proves it is racism ,then it is racism.Racists are normally uneducated people .Most people who have gone further with education do not do racism.I find it interesting why people are quick to defend attacks as not racism even if the attackers are not yet arrested. How do you know whats in their minds to conclude it is not racism

But there have been arrests.... and it's turned out the motive in most cases has been robbery.

Are you trying to say, that If I get mugged for a phone whilst walking through a park at night by a group of say Lebanese thats racism ?

When does it become racisim, when I find out the origins of the people that mug me ? The colour of their skin.... or just because I say so ?

There were plenty of people calling the Griffith attack Racism it turns out it was an argument between Indians over Wages.

Aw-bloody-stralya-mate. Every last atom Australian; except for those foul few that I swallowed when trying Branston Pickles after it was enthused about here.
