Last of the Mohicans! The Michael Mann movie was totally different from the Fenimore Cooper book though. That usually annoys me but they got the movie right! In the book, Cora Munro is killed and Chingachgook doesn't kill Magua, it's Hawkeye! Colonel Munro survives the book too but in the movie, Magua eats his heart!
Probably the only time I can recall the movie bettering the novel although the Godfather 1 and 2 equalled it!

I am going to see if I can get the entire collection of Ghost Whisperer DVDs, I know it's sad but I love Ghost Whisperer.

Saying that, I don't know if they do a DVD collection.

Oh god, yes I need the Carry on Doctor collection - I bloody love Carry on films.

Really cheesy, but I am now half way through the entire Professionals DVD collection....Bodie is still soooooo gorgeous, even after all these years! Cost about £25 from Amazon, looks dated now, but still hours and hours of enjoyment!

You know Amazon rocks for getting second hand DVDs dirt cheap even delivery.

Ive got my favourite Amazon seller, DVDs of good quality - he is bookmarked for my next order.

Mr PP cant watch DVDs more than once, I can watch them several times over. Oh yes, I had a thing for Bodie all those years ago.

Yep, The wire
best thing on Aussie TV without a doubt, I am tempted to get the box set but as ABC2 are showing the lot back to back i will wait until the end then watch it all again.

American TV (in particular HBO) have done some great stuff the last few years.
i loved the Rome serries, Weeds, True Blood, Lost and starting to get hooked on the new "V"

missed out on 24 and the sopranos, so i may look at those box sets in the future

Must say i`m not one for watching movies more than once, when i was younger i had a few favorites that got regular plays:
Blade runner
Escape from New York
Trainspotting
Human traffic
Life of brian
Sid & nancy
Breakfast club

some new movies to recommend:
sex drugs & rock n roll (ian dury story)
Shutter Island
The Road
The Cove (documentary)

and freaky Australian paranormal thriller "lake mungo"

Ian Dury Story ... I'll add that to the list.

Saw a BBC doco recently on the history of the Stiff record label "If Ain't Stiff", it was excellent. They also did one on Rough Trade records.

My kind of viewing
