That nearly made me snort my yoghurt!!!:rofl::rofl:

(I'm timekeeping, not allowed in the pool unless I fall in.)

Wow - what a coincidence. My OH is in the ICU too, he had a triple bypass this morning. Just been to see him, the poor soul is still on the ventilator so even though he was awake he couldn't talk.

Coincidence ends there. Mine is 20 years older than yours.

It must be a worry to have to have one of those at such a young age. Hope he recovers OK.

Fingers crossed for your man as well Nicky.

I know how I felt when Mr PP was in hospital - you would do anything to get them home.

Hope you ladies are doing OK - must be so stressful for you both.:o

Thank you both. It's not nice seeing him so wired up. I can't wait till tomorrow when the ventilator should be out and he's free to talk.

We're just thankful that heart problems are so fixable these days. At least within a couple of months he should be back to normal. There are definitely worse things he could be ill with.

A very unpleasant thing to go through. :(

No doubt lots of control of the TV remote will assist in their recovery. ;) ...........oh, and loving wives who dote on them too of course.

I'm guessing that when your tank is delivered, we're going to go through the driest period for years?

Monday night, so Her Maj's visit to South Bank is over.

Not because I'm anti-Royal or anything, it's just taking a hell of a lot of planning (for the last 6 weeks) and I'm gonna be doing stuff for it all weekend, and I'm just a little bit over to it. I wonder if she has any idea how many man hours of planning it takes for so many people because she's going to be visiting us for a few hours.

But I'm sure it will all go swimmingly :fingerscrossed:

She's done one or two in the past 60 odd years so I should imagine she has more than a fair idea. ;)
