Plenty of catapults on ebay, all overseas though, maybe it's a nanny state kicking in again?

You probably need a license to use it.

Congratulations Sam! I know this course is something you've wanted to do for a long time, so it's great that you've actually done it. Can't wait to see your name in the credits at the movies. :)

Hope Gordon gets along with your new girl.

Thanks Dorothy.:)

I watched my doco on the big screen at the FTI cinema - we all saw our work today which was weird.

Looking forward to the graduation night, get a chance to dress up.

Just feel a bit lost now - got to keep in touch with the experts at the college to stay in the loop.

The cage is already for Emily the cat - she is very scared of humans as she is wild, but she has to be an indoor cat as she is so nervous, but thats fine - I wouldnt let her out anyway.

How are your studies coming on?

It's all good Sam. Last assignment for the semester is just waiting to be written - got all the research but I absolutely hate to write so I'm procrastinating as usual. I've signed up for one course during summer school so I can stay ahead of the game a bit.

We'll have to get together for that lunch next time you're in the city. Better yet, we'll meet on a Friday after work for drinks.

Im seeing some eye specialist on Wed at Murdoch, he is putting 'punctal plugs' in my eyes as I am not producing tears and my eyes are dry as, so in a way I am looking forward to having something done with my eyes.

Have you heard of that process, do you know if it hurts?

Yup I've heard of it and nope it does'nt hurt. It's pretty quick and done in the office while you sit in the exam chair. A few deep breaths to relax yourself and you'll be fine. You're going to feel so much better once the dry eye is all fixed up.

Its going to cost about $120 per plug and I need 4:eek:

I dont produce saliva either, my mouth is always dry and tastes salty/metallic and I have cracked lips, they are looking at sero negative Sjogrens - although bloods have gone back to normal, eye specialist is convinced and reckons regular bloods will show up.

How much longer do you have in your nursing course? Is it like the UK where you get a bursary to study?

Getting to Kalbarri as being stuck in the very back seat of my Prado as I am the shortest isn't much fun!

On the plus side I get great coverage on my iPad so at least I have something to entertain myself!

Tuesday, with my offsite meeting with DON and CEO....

have been shortlisted for interview for another job, they have to go through an appeals procedure from a previous unsuccessful applicant... So have NO idea how long that takes...... Fingers crossed that I CAN hand in my resignation ASAP....

Looking forward to a day when I don't have to deal with medical stuff. Won't be today as I have to call neurologist and GP after yesterday's hospital trip.
