how about thinking of it as give it a go for 2 years. After 2 years you'll have settled in and have a pretty good idea AND you citizenship. It'll take the pressure of massively if you dont look at it as forever...[/QUOTE]

I went back to the UK after thinking Oz wasnt for me, much as I love the UK though, I decided to move back. I should have gone on holiday back to England.
Hope you're all excited again when you get this and the best of best of best of luck!!!!
Where r u planning on moving to?

We went to Aus last August for a look after finding out my OH may be entitled to citizenship by descent. It had been granted by the time we had got back!!!
Our first goal is to do the 2 years so that myself and the kids also have the citizenship and nice blue passports. We will then review our situation as i believe you can never say never as regards returning to the UK or moving elsewhere..........
Whereabouts are you? C x
Not until 1st July Lee, hopefully we will be there before then..........C x
Hiya Ast, what you doing on here when the sun is shining outside??!!!!! C x

Hi all,
we are off in 7weeks time and I have got a bad case of the wobbles. its just last minute nerves I hope, but OMG are we doing the rite thing..who knows...all I keep telling myself is we are going to give it our best shot...(then I go and be sick again)
been reading thru all these posts and feeling a bit more positive again now. someone told me it was going to be a rollercoaster ride and it certainly is, up one minute down the next......I think I will have to stop reading the Back to UK posts. they are a bit scarey.
