And finally we hear from the Home Secretary, Amber Rudd that Trump's travel ban is a 'potential propaganda opportunity for ISIS' and that it is 'divisive and wrong'. Is this Tory minister from the loony left? Why did she wait until yesterday to condemn the policy? Why didn't Theresa May express the same opinion but hid behind 'US policy is for the US not for me' (might affect trade deals)?

Remember, there ARE no left wing sources in the US. They are all from centre-right to extreme right wing. It's all down to the Overton window and the loony fringe dragging it progressively to the far right since Reagan.

Of course not. The Washo Post is right wing all the way ... ho ho ho. Delusion.

The unfortunate common mode for UK politicians is to think that they can 'talk sense' to the US and pull them round to behaving themselves with "constructive engagement". They do it all the time, Tory or Labour, and it generally speaking doesn't work.

Looks like some of them have realised that you can reason with insanity, and so are voicing some unfortunate realities. However May needs the US to play ball to make her own insanity of implementing article 50 without a safety net less suicidal - hence deploying her maj so early on.

Show me one of them suggesting "ownership of the means of production" and I'll say they are left wing. Without that it's centralist to right wing I'm afraid - them's the rules.

As the Professor of Political Studies at the University of Virginia said on the news last night - 'Trump is already the most autocratic leader/President since (apologies to his British audience) George III. He also said that Trump is only trying to appeal to the just under 50% who voted for him and in no way is trying to embrace those who didn't. It's going to be a very long 4 years'.

Hate to be picky but it was really only about 25%.

Of the vote - the Politics Professor said either 46 or 48% of voters voted for Trump and 52 or 54% voted for Clinton or someone else. ;) Don't shoot the messenger and all that!

Interesting question:

Would Alexandre Bissonette have been able to enter the US of A before Monday? Answer - Yes, providing he came from Canada and not via the 7 countries on the travel ban. He also is a Trump and Le Pen supporter so that would have added to his credentials.:sarcasm:

Don't know. Feel free to pop it in the graph.

Interestingly Fox News appears to be out there all on its own. Whilst filling your boots with the Guardian, CNN and BBC its good to get the other perspective over at Fox. Its not as crazy as you might think.

Some organizations allow the reporters free reign on how they reports and the polarization of the articles depends more on the reporter than the organization.

Some just take news feed direct from other organizations, or so it seems.

Another day, another monumental Trump cock-up.

Donald Trump: The phone call that rocked the relationship between US and Australia - Donald Trump's America - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

Not only did he rant in private at the PM (and Turnbull isn't going to forgive that quick), he let it leak and then tweeted about it - putting it all out there for everyone to see.

Does this cretin really not understand that you need friends? I'm seriously thinking that he's got mental issues and needs to be 'sectioned' fast. What the hell is he going to do in an emergency?

The answer to your first question is - No. The answer to your second question is that he'll be a modern Nero - he'll Tweet sh*te while there's an emergency. I agree with the statement in between.
