Will have to ship hubbies tools, but not enough for a container, will have to find out best way to send them. Maybe a post on the tradies thread.

Sooooooo exciting! Just trying to sort out this house to rent out and book us in a caravan now! Will definately stay in touch
Hi All

Not been on here for long lately, busy sorting our new life out, which begins 2 weeks today. This time in a fortnight we will be HOME
Just thought I wud add about container etc. we got a shared container nothing much kids toys, photos, clothes & my 3 tool boxes. 130cuft is £650 with john masons. Got 4 quotes they were cheapest, we were thinking of taking 3 piece but that wud have cost £500 just for that, so its not coming. Sent my cv to a few agencies one rang me saying I should get a job when I want one(which is nice). We doing a little tour first in the motorhome, after 1st week with friends, its down south to augusta then working our way back north stopping on sites in busselton, fremantle, mandurah, east perth central perth, north of quinns rock then giving the motorhome back by which time we might have an idea of where i can get a job, which then means a house, school etc.
Great to hear everyones grants.

Meds finalized 7th March 2011, everything else is MET..........but still no VISA. This is so frustrating!!!!

How long did you have to wait after your medicals were finalized to receive your VISA??????? We are a British family with WA Sponsorship! I know every case is different but there were quite a few on this thread with a CO the same time as us so was just wondering what other peoples experiences were!

Give them a call or drop them an email. My visa grant letter was attached to the reply to my email asking if all docs had been recieved ok (mine werent all showing as met.) I think they are just so laid back out there, they are in no hurry, not realising we are pulling our hair out! Drop an email now and they will get it first thing Monday. Fingers crossed you will have your visa when you wake up

We had pine wardrobes and didn't have to treat them. Also packed toolboxes with tools in- just make sure they are clean and the box smells of disinfectant if there are any tools that are used outside.

If the furniture is varnished there is no problem, provided there are no little holes which could be seen as insect infestation. They are much hotter on outside furniture and tools. We left our patio stuff behind and varnished and treated all our garden tools, and the bikes. They were inspected, but all passed without further need for treatment.
