If you read my previous to your question about "entry by" then it appears not. My visa clearly says validate entry by 07th october 2011.

I dont think anyone gets 12 months from date of grant, as far as I am aware you are given 12 months from your medicals. Maybe he had his medicals 6 months ago? That is why lots of people advise not to have your medicals before your CO requests them, as it shortens your validation period

Mind you John1 done his meds in January and had to land by October, so who knows!!

exactly meds in jan so it should be jan 2012 for entry by, but hey ho i am not complaining, bank account opened today, removals being sorted next week, flights a week later & then my months notice. April in WA

I just checked our police checks we got them on the 07th oct 2010, so our 12 months are from then.

aaaah, we are awaiting our police checks now, so we should get entry for Feb 2012? Although want to go this autumn

Our meds are on there way to sydney, but we frontloaded our meds....last July !!!!
