lol It's not an angry thread! If you knew me as a poster on here you'd know that I'm by no means an angry person and am here to try my best to help people out with their queries. We're one big community on here and try our best to make everyones 'journey to Oz' more bearable. Without BE I'd be lost where most visa things are concerned and I owe a lot of people on here a large drink!

The whole PLE thing has been abused somewhat, which many people have commented on, so I, as the martyr started this thread on behalf of a lot of people, BOY DO I REGRET IT! Some people have very important PLE's to send, of course they do, but other people just spend their time pestering DIAC, bombarding them with the same PLE time and time again, not waiting for a response to their initial PLE! It can't be easy for DIAC staff, so I guess I started this thread to try and make people understand the stresses those staff must be under, having the same query sent over and over again must be very frustrating for them!

DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER! That's all I'm saying...we all want our visa process to run as smoothly and quickly as possible...and I guess DIAC staff do find it difficult keeping on top of things, particularly as recently there have been staff cuts amongst them!

If the MODs think this thread is pointless and ANGRY, then I have no problem with them deleting it....I'll leave it with them....

hi jen, iv seen you on other threads and can vouch that you are not the angry sort, quite the opposite if anything.

i would have to say the way everything is at the mo, everything we see on tv and what is going on in the world we would al and make all our li l like some reassurance and something possitive to give us a boost, like a visa for example.

let's just hope that things are on the up and DAIC are able to get on with our applications and make all our lives sunnier

Our wee journey to Oz is full of ups and downs and without BE I'd have cracked up a long time ago, maybe even GIVEN UP! I'm just sitting here finishing writing my pupil reports, am actually on the last one and BOY DOES IT FEEL GOOD! Thanks once again for your 'defence' of me, it's really made me smile...in saying that I do feel a certain amount of guilt having started this thread and ideally would like it to be deleted as I don't want people misjudging me as some have so obviously done! Anyhoo, back to Ethan's report, you might well have saved his bacon, I might actually write something positive on it! lol jesting....

This thread is definitely chat. And I don't see moderators complaining about that at all (even, when it goes against the site rules). It seems because probably moderators agree with the type of "chat" that is being done, they don't care too much about it.

Hi jen1977in you are cool .This thread means a lot to some people who have important queries and havent been cleared by DIAC.People should know the importance of PLE and Assure you there are some people whom to be educated regarding PLEs .

What country are you from, what visa have you applied for, whats you timeline, when will I get my visa, how do I call / email my co,when will I hear from my CO?

Insane irrelevant questions that are getting posted on this forum constantly, which are responded to by a number of people with the suggestion to send a PLE / call to DIAC!

If this is representative of what is happening at DIAC with all these PLE's being generated then it is a valid point to raise in order to educate people to stop sending pointless PLE's which will occupy scarce valuable resources within DIAC.

On another You seem to be quite happy to tell others what to do "don't start such a angry thread" If this post does not apply / interest / anger you then why read it?

So, anyway,whats your timeline?


TRA apllied for 3rd june 2027. Approved 4th August 1923. Occupation: Time traveller. On line visa submitted tomorrow. CO appointed 1st Julember. Visa granted 5th Sept 2009. Been in Oz three years now & it's brill
