BUT I feel guilty - knowing part of him really doesnt want to go, and that is mainly due to his parents who are not well, but I do not want to spend the rest of my life here and my unhappiness is effecting us - he said tho he would rather be in Australia with us, than in London alone. I am sure this is common in these sorts of situations.

We are only just starting the process, getting our son citizen by decent, have asked friends in OZ to do Stat Decs for us on our relationship etc. Luckily I still have a few bills from OZ in both our names, and just gathering all the required stuff at the moment.

I'm getting my passport before applying for the spouse visa & citizenship by descent, as I'm on my parents citizenship certificate & my name has changed since I married so I think the passport would be a better way of confirming my citizenship. So I take it as long as the right documents are provided the visa will be straightforward too. Don't know why I'm panicing - we've been married 8 years & have four kids so surely he'll get the visa! Just scared in case any job offers come in the mean time & he can't take them so want to get the visa application right so it gets through quickly!!!

But i just want to say congrats to everybody who has got their visa recently!
