Smoking killed both my Mum and my Dad....two most brilliant people
It was fashionable when they were young (1940's/50's) and the dangers relatively undiscovered.
I dabbled as a teen, but never really saw the attraction.
I actually like the smell of new cigarette smoke, especially the first 'draw'......but then again all my childhood I was a passive smoker, so it's probably associated with childhood memories

Hugely debatable especially as you have an agenda.

I think we can nip this in the bud and agree both are huge issues. My point is that smoking is almost universally accepted as bad for you. Obesity is too but much less is done about it. That is all I am saying

id have to say my friends daughter inlaw was obese would have been about 120 Kilo. she was only 19 & on blood pressuse pills & could hardley walk had trouble with her ankles e.t.c was always tired & sick. She had no energy. for a young person looked awful
since her loosing about 20 kilo what a differene in her. She is walking faster & is off the blood pressure pills.
And here is me trying to get some weight on my daughter that is under weight. im always trying to get more food into her. I just want her in the healthy weight range.

Look there has been many a beauty that has smoked and has done it with style.
If it wasn't bad for you and the smell then I'd have no issue with it.
For the rest of us non-smokers, the smell on peoples' clothes and in their homes is enough to prevent us starting.
I can never work out how people start.

If that is, say, once a month that you give in, then I reckon that might be a worthwhile cause if it helps the rest of the time.

That's because when a fat person eats too much they only harm themselves. When a smoker lights up they affect everybody around them. Thankfully I have not been sat on by a fat person in a long time but I sure as hell get poisoned by disgusting ciggy smoke on a regular basis. It's gross
